OAB can integrate external control TCU.

You are in the Commission on Constitution, Justice and Citizenship (CCJ) of the Senate, to be reported by Senator Romero Jucá (PMDB-RR), proposed amendment to the Constitution (PEC 30/07) of authorship of Senator Renato Casagrande (PSB-ES) establishing the National Council of Courts of Accounts and the prosecutor at the Court of Auditors. If approved the proposal, Council members will take part in the TCU, the advisers in the Courts of Auditors, of prosecutors, lawyers chosen by the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) and two people indicated by the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.

Under the proposal, the new body work in the same manner as the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the National Council of Public Prosecution (CNMP). Targets would combat the practice of nepotism, poor management, financial resources and administrative dishonesty, and monitor the administrative and financial performance of the courts and the functional duties of ministers, advisers and auditors. This is called external control, to ensure, according explained Renato Casagrande, wide transparency in the performance of public activities.

Even as envisaged in the SGP, the Council shall be composed of 15 members, with a mandate of two years, allowed only a renewal. Everyone should be appointed by the President of the Republic, after the absolute majority of the Senate approve their nominations. Board members did not realize any remuneration for the performance of their duties. With information from the Agency Senate.

I hope that at least amenize corruption and misuse of public money, since in many cases, the Court of Auditors has overbilled bids, as was the case of RJ TEC. It is difficult to believe in the efficiency of a supervisory body that can not even be monitored. The external control is more than necessary!
